Ladies Ecstatic Over Labor Saving Devices The women in and around Zebu Ion are learning to “walk away from wash daze.” They are learning, very fast, in fact, that the drudgery of wash days can be eliminated with eco nomical and highly efficient auto matic washers and dryers. Read what some of your neigh bors are saying about their wash ers and dryers. And after you have read, why not go to your nearest dealer and ask for a dem onstration. You won’t regret it. Remember, the life you save may be your own! “Convenience is the main thing,” Mrs. George Tucker said, in speak ing of her dryer. “I am crazy about both my washer and dryer, and couldn’t do without them since the baby came.” • Mrs. Bill Beck, who has recent ly gotten a washer-dryer combina tion, said: “I haven’t had time to learn its qualities. But now I like it just fine. The manual says it will do every thing but prepare the dinner meal. Within two or three months, I could probably tell you better just how much I like it. But so far it is fine.” • “Having a dryer takes just about all the drudgery from laundry that can possibly be taken out of it,” Mrs. Ray Goodwin stated. “A dry er also cuts down on the amount THI NEW PRE'ViiUM QUALITY ALL-PURPOSE GAS Pud Sold At Regular Price* — Exdusivuly !y JOHNSON Cotton Company Phone FO 5-3871 Main St. WENDELL. I would hate to have to give up either.” • With a baby in the household and two growing boys, Mrs. Troy J. Barrett, Methodist minister's wife, said of her combination washer-dryer, “I just love it. Now I get no detergent hands, and the going back and forth to the clothes lines has gone. My clothes are fluffier automatically dried. An other aspect of the combination is I use the dryer for things that have to be washed by hand, such as eor durby and dark things. The lint filter is especially nice.” • “Washers are a necessity and not a luxury for today’s housewife, Mrs. Aaron Lowery voiced, “espe cially with a new baby in the house.” “I had rather do without my right arm than my washer, for my right arm has had it.” Contrary to some women’s opin ions, Mrs. Durwood Stallings, Jr. finds the washer-dryer combina tion “very satisfactory.” Mrs. Stal lings continued by saying, “We have enjoyed our washer-dryer very much. This is the second one we have owned. One of the best aspects I like about it is the fact that it is housed in one cabinet and there isn’t the necessity of transferring the clothes from one unit to another.” With Our Servicemen Pvt.
